Patriotism

What is patriotism? Patriotism is the love for our country and the will to respect every bit of it. When you go to a sporting event take off your hat to show respect to all soldiers and our country. Many people debate if our country has patriotism but most of the people believe we do and I am one of those people. If we as a country didn’t have any patriotism it would be hectic and there would be no point of our soldiers fighting in wars.
America needs patriotism through everybody but if you really think about it we as a country especially need it from our soldiers. They need patriotism more than we think. Patriotism is the pride that drives them they are going to fight even harder than others. When they sleep they wonder if they’re going to make it another day and wondering if they’ll ever see their family again and we should thank them for that. I know I said that soldier’s patriotism levels are higher than ours but we still have patriotism.
Although soldiers show patriotism, all people of the US need to show patriotism, too. We as people of the United States of America show patriotism every day whether you think about doing it or not. There are many forms of patriotism in the everyday life of an American. You can fold a flag right and believe it or not that is patriotism. Most everything you do your being patriotic every day at school you pledge your allegiance. Everybody does something patriotic every day. Reasons for our patriotism are all our amendments for our country. It all starts with the amendments.
The reason we can show our patriotism and be proud with it is because of all our all amendments like freedom of speech. Freedom of speech allows us to say whatever we want but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any consequences. For example if we say something bad to our parents we could get grounded. So we show the best patriotism for having to use the amendments wisely.
We as a country need patriotism otherwise there would be complete opposites in America. No one would want to import to our country and no one would help us. Everything would be hectic without someone controlling our country and help piece us the US back together. That’s my view on why we need patriotism.
