In the poem "Field Below" the tone of the poem matched the way they sang it.It was very sad and depressing in a way that most people wouldn't think. Slow music shows that its not going to be happy or upbeat; since slow is the opposite of fast this will be a sad song. She is most likely regretting decisions that he/she made.
